Meet the Team

Robert Garrett is an evangelical pastor, international Bible teacher, conference speaker, prolific writer, author, publisher, Gospel singer, and pianist. Robert has been married to his lovely wife Kimberly for thirty-four years and has two adult sons, who are both married with children of their own. The Garrett’s originally hail from southeastern Pennsylvania but now all reside in middle Tennessee.     

In 2005, Robert and Kimberly co-founded Christian Call ™, an evangelistic ministry which includes a mobile Bible school (Christian Call Bible Institute) and a book publishing ministry (Christian Call Press). For over three decades, Robert & Kimberly traveled throughout much of the USA and in over twenty-five countries ministering in churches across denominational lines, leadership conferences, Christian retreats, camp meetings, YWAM bases, Gospel music concerts, and broadcast media.

Robert Garrett was raised in a loving Christian family and engaged in Gospel music and eventually global evangelism from his earliest years. He was mentored under his parents, (the late) Rev. Bob and Elaine Garrett, as were his four siblings, who also remain active in ministry. Over the years, the Garrett Family Singers produced over 12-recording projects either as a group or as solo artists. From 1987-2016, Rev. Robert and Kimberly Garrett pastored Praise Fellowship Church and its daughter congregation, Love Alive Fellowship (2016-2019), evangelical churches serving Chester County, PA. Then, in 2019, with their children grown, Pastor Garrett resigned his long-term pastorate to enter bi-vocational work while serving Christian Call ™.

In 2023, the Garrett’s moved from Pennsylvania to Middle Tennessee to be near their sons, with Robert working for the next couple of years in the field of behavioral health. Then in the summer of 2025, the Lord once again called Robert and Kimberly to the pastorate, and by the fall of 2025, Robert received the call to Christ Chapel of McMinnville, TN and began serving the church full-time in early 2026 as Lead Pastor. Robert Garrett holds a Diploma from Malcom Smith Bible Institute msbi.teachable.com, a Bachelor of Science in Bible (concentration in Pastoral Ministry) from University of Valley Forge valleyforge.edu, and a Master of Divinity (concentration in Historical Theology) from Reformed Episcopal Seminary res.edu.
