This message introduces THE LORD’S PRAYER as the central prayer of the Christian church; the New Testament equivalent of the “Shema Israel” (Hear O Israel). Jesus’ disciples said, “Lord, teach us to pray” just as you pray to God. This is how we are instructed to pray as children of God throughout the entire church age.
